A lot of whiny babies will be in your ward. There are a lot of whiny adults, too. I've found this to be one of the most unfriendly places I have ever lived. The apartments are small, and south wymount has cinderblock walls, so it is always cold. Free utilities are nice. Cable is just what BYU wants you to watch, so you get a lot of Seinfeld... There is a lot of racial segregation- I'm not sure if it is intentional or not. People are really nosy. I've had people comment on things they can see through my window, my cat or my paintings, etc. Really kooky stuff like that. It is a give and take- if you are willing to be stifled for money, then move in. If not, live closer to UVSC where people don't monitor what you are up to 24/7. You won't get as much stuff for free, but you will have piece of mind. And who can put a price on that. Oh, also, BYU employees leaked some of my heath records to the community aide/RA of married housing. Nice, huh'

Your cat? You aren't supposed to have pets in Wymount. Maybe that's why they commented...

Well, that has been the opposite of my experience. No one has ever commented to me on anything on our walls. Also, the people have ALWAYS been friendly to us-in fact the friendliest place we have lived so far. As a mom, sorry but we can't help it if our babies cry. That is what babies do. Obviously you aren't a parent. You are not supposed to have pets in Wymount BTW. Maybe that is why people commented?

Sounds like your only problem is your attitude. You didn't follow the rules, and apparently, you don't realize that people everywhere are nosy. Wymount is a great experience, and maybe you should have checked all the rules before you moved in.
