When we first moved here, we thought it was great. The office staff was friendly, the apartment was large and it seemed like a safe place to live. We actually recommended this place to family and friends.

We lived there for over a year and our opinion changed drastically. For example: paper thin walls, hard to flush toilets, infestations of insects (even though our apartment was kept clean), leaking water during thunderstorms, allowing obvious hoodlums to move in. It's not a safe community anymore. My husband's stereo was stolen out of his truck. Legacy Springs knowingly allowed large groups of single people rent these apartments and they had loud and crazy parties until 3:00 in the morning, even though this is supposedly a "family friendly" apartment community. The pool was often closed due to maintenance. The grounds seemed to be maintained o.k. but there were huge patches of dirt where grass should have been.

The people in the office are generally friendly, but seem to have no clue what is going on since the turnover rate is so high. We got so many different explanations for questions that it was impossible to know what the correct policy was. I did find the maintenance guys to be helpful and friendly, but they were honestly the only staff that were that way.

When we moved out, I made sure the apartment was immaculate. I came back and cleaned if for an entire day. We've always gotten our full deposit back in the past. Not only did Legacy Springs take our full deposit, they charged us more money with absolutely no explanation of the charges.

I've tried contacting the office many times since we've moved out about getting a written statement of our charges, but no one has returned my calls, even though I've been polite and professional in my messages.

Don't waste your time renting here.

this review says exactly what i would say, especily about the office being clueless and the manager being incompetent.
