What a ....! they told me it was ready to move in so I signed a lease late on friday and found the gas wasn't on and when I told them how the other places I had lived already had the gas on and I could just transfer my account Nate the manager just laughed and said if you don't like it you can buy your lease out. What a ....! Now I have to wait untill the gas people can come out some time next week. Be aware the management seems nice on the outside but they have very poor customer service skills when it comes to complaints! Nates fired! Thats all.

AFTER TELLING THIS INDIVIDUALS' WIFE ON 3 SEPERATE OCCASSIONS AT LEAST A WEEK PRIOR TO THIER MOVE IN DATE, IT WAS THIER RESPONSIBLITY TO CONTACT THE GAS COMPANY TO HAVE THE GAS TURNED ON. UPON SPEAKING WITH TENANT REGARDING THIS ISSUE WE TOLD HIM THAT THERE WAS NOTHING WE COULD DO TO HELP HIM AT THIS POINT. HE THEN STATED HE WANTED TO MOVE AND NATE'S RESPONSE WAS HIS OPTION WAS TO BUY OUT OF HIS LEASE. AS A COURTESY WE OFFERED TO PRO RATE THE RENT UNTIL HE COULD GET THE GAS ON. WE FELT THAT WE WERE MORE THAN ACCOMADATING AND ALSO FEEL THAT THIS IS A CASE WERE SOMEONE TRYING TO GET SOMETHING FOR NOTHING OR IN OTHER WORDS, A FREE RIDE!

We've been with Aspen Cove since January 2007. We have enjoyed Aspen Cove, and the management has been very very supportive with us. We keep to ourselves and pretty much live across from the managers with no one bothering us via phone or knocking on our door from the management office. Gladys & Nate are really great people to work with and they have been very understanding with us. Mike is the bossman and he can be hard at times, but that's his job, I think he tries to be as fair as he can. Aspen Cove is a cool place to live...
