We have enjoyed the spaciousness and clean nature of the apartments here at Cobblecreek. The grounds are pretty and we love the geese and ducks. However, this enjoyment has seemed short-lived over the past 8 months or so. It frequently feels that "big brother" is watching over your shoulder.
Recently there has been talk of removing two closets in each apartment to install washers and dryers. While this sounds like it would be a nice addition, there is already a terrible shortage of food storage space, and closet space. Furthermore, the new washing utilities will tack on another $40 dollars per month to the already stifling price. Washing clothes is already expensive here at the complex with small wahers, but even then, only costs most families $20-30 per month.
You can really feel that this complex is owned by a large properties owner with little reason to care about the folks who pay the bills. There are better places to rent. Please consider other places before getting into this binding lease.
