My wife and I have lived here for a couple of months, and we have loved it thus far. The management has been great, so I am not really sure what other reviewers' problems are in regards to the management. Also, in regards to penalty fees for late monthly payments, this is the policy at all apartments so I don't see what the big deal is. Just pay your rent on time and everything is fine.
The ambiance here is great, too. We love the ducks and the maintenance team does a good job of spraying off the duck poop, which has a tendency to accumulate on the walkways. The view is great from our patio, and we actually spend time out there because it is so spacious.
We have an updated kitchen which is quite nice, and we love our fireplace. The only negatives are that we don't have washer and dryer hookups and the bathroom is a little small. However, the washer/dryer facility is really nice as is the workout area. Parking is good and this place is way safer than other places we have been at.
Overall, I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. Very good experience so far!

Just wait till winter and you start seeing dead ducks everywhere. They clip the wings and then let the ducks "fend for themselves". So far this winter i've seen 6 dead ducks, not including the ones people run over. The ducks are cute till you realize that they are trapping them there and they cant fly somewhere warmer for the winter.

From Management: To make it known we do not clip the ducks or geese wings. They are all here on their own free will. We have had a few deceased ducks around the property but it is nature, animals die. Also we do not make them "fend for themselves." Almost daily the staff brings food from home to feed the ducks as well as the numerous residents who feed them. The ducks must like to be here because we have never put the ducks here nor do we stop them from leaving. We all love the ducks and do not hurt them in any way.
