Again, more cars being broken into here last night, particularly in the parking garage. Irving Schoolhouse can be a nice place to live, but until management employs a full time security guard to sit and watch the property all night this is going to be an ongoing problem. There are a lot of nice vehicles parked here so it is a prime spot for theives to target.
Crime awareness meetings are ineffective and don't address the problems. Management's response was simply that patrols have been increased but all a thief needs to do is wait for the patrol to leave to do his business. It's a fairly simple idea that just needs to be acted upon. The Crime Awareness meeting held on Monday sure did a lot of good.
