The apartment complex has very nice grounds. They do let the rose bushes get a little out of control and they tend to droop over some of the sidewalks. We have lived in two different apartments in the complex and have had to clean both of them before moving in. They are remodeling vacant apartments so that may help. The people in the office are usually not helpful and two different people will tell you two completely different things in regards to rent and any other issues you may bring up. The new management will nickel and dime you for everything. We are moving to a bigger and nicer apartment in another complex for about 100 dollars less than Lake Pines is going to be charging. In the winter you will be charged for more gas than you actually use. They take the gas use for the entire complex and then divide it up among the tenants. Apparently they are to lazy to have someone check individual meters and then charge you for what you actually use. Our gas bill over the winter for a one bedroom apartment was well over 70 dollars a month. I could go on and on, but you should be getting an idea. I would not recommend this complex to anyone. Stay away from this place.
