slc doesn't have "gang activity" (see previous comment) and the area palladio is in is right in front of a run down park where the homeless ppl stay,but they're pretty much harmless. i lived there for a year and walked to work everyday and never had a problems (and i'm a younger female), so i'd say it's safe. the apts are fairly new and nice looking, top floors had vaulted ceilings. mgmt was new when i was there and they were horrible, unorganized and didn't care. some apts have patios that are only separated by half of a wall which sucks but other than that, i loved living there and would return if i was staying in slc. GREAT location!
