horrible parking, bad management, noisy

I have lived here for a little over 2 months now and I can say that this place is not worth the high rent they charge. The parking is just awful. It's ok during the day, but if you get home late from work or go out during the evening, expect to have to park in the street or somewhere else outside the parking lot. The parking garage underneath the buildings and the spots along the sidewalks to the buildings are all reserved and are an additional fee if you are able to attain a spot at all. Not all of the parking spots are clearly defined as "Reserved" so expect to get a boot on your car if you accidentally park in one. It is $80 to get the boot removed, even if you are a resident, and management is unsympathetic to this. Parking is such a headache, I don't want to leave at night, or I walk wherever I can.

Aside from this, the walls and floors/ceiling are paper-thin. The guy above me either walks super heavy, weighs 400 lbs, or the ceiling is very thin. I can here every step he takes and he seems to be up all day long. His steps are so loud, I can barely here the tv. There are kids frequently running full speed past my door, which is also very loud. On top of this, I here people yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs either in the hall, or in the apartment next door. I'm either surrounded by trashy, rude people, or this building construction sucks. I'm not a bitter old person either, I'm 25 and like turn up music or the tv once in a while, but I'm afraid I'll be as loud as everyone else.

Hardly any utilities are covered. The rooms have a washer and dryer combo, but they charge for them anyway. The exercise facility is tiny, not well ventilated, and has hardly any equipment. It is shared among 4 buildings as well. The grounds staff seems to be good and clear the sidewalks right away during the winter. Haven't needed maintenance yet, but management is pretty bad. It seems like only 1 or 2 of them actually know what's going on, and they don't seem to be very prompt when you try to contact them. For the price, this place should be 10x better. I would not recommend it, there are better places out there for this price.
