The area is a nice location, but the facilities at Pinnacle are sub-standard; and they call these luxury apartments.

The wall are so thin you can hear your neighbors peeing, showering, talking on the phone, walking, and yes even hear them going at it at all hours of the night.

The kitchens have NO counter space and the tiny microwave they provide barely holds a bag of unpopped popcorn. The appliance provided are the cheapest and lowest quality imaginable. The dishwasher sounds like a big rig rolling through the apartment.

I was forutnat enough to have a garage not too far from my unit. This is a nice thing to have and wish more complexes had them.

The office staff members are arrogant, rude, and uptight. They forget they're just staff employees and not the owners of the place. Phone calls are NEVER returned!

I wanted to go month to month and they wanted to charge about $1,200 to $1,500 per month which they claim is market rate. What a load of crap! They couldn't get people to pay that much if they tried. So I had to opt for another lease because that was cheaper than finding another place to live due to moving expenses, security deposits, etc.

A couple of the maintenance guys are very helpful and friendly. However, only when I submitted a list of about 15 things for them to take care did the office management get the maintenance crew to address my problems.

They charge for water, garbage, sewer, and pet rent of all things. They should just convert these places to condos if I have to pay for all those things. The pet rent is just a rip-off since no pet facilities or amenities are provided.

They also require the renters to have liability insurance so if you or a guest gets injured your policy is the primary party and not theirs.

My unit was flooded due to a water main breaking on the third floor. I was not able to stay in my apartment and one of the employees said I could stay at a Red Cross facility. This was appalling and eventually the manager provided an adequate hotel. However, I had to pack and move nearly all of my belonging, miss time from work, eat out because I didn't have access to the kitchen, etc. I was offered to move to another unit and they would cover the expenses. I opted to stay since new carpeting was being installed, new dry walls, etc. They provided movers just for the "big" items, and having arthritis in my back caused a lot of discomfort because I had to do so much on my own.

Wow. Another horror story about Pinnacle Highland. THEIR pipe burst in my apartment, ruining furniture and other items, and they told me I should file a claim with my renter's insurance?!?! There is no responsibility or concern, these people are obviously sub-human.
