These apartments look very nice on the outside. They have a laundry room, which only tenants can access, which is nice(no change machine, which is not very convenient). On the inside, the apartments are dark and poorly insulated(it's always cold!).There are spaces under all the doors, which create a lot of cold drafts, and allow heat to escape(and practically anything to enter). The cabinents are the cheapest looking, raggedy things I've ever seen! They don't have overhead lights in the bedrooms(if you don't have a lamp to plug in,you're screwed!).It's hard to find studs in the walls,so,I wouldn't recommend hanging up anything heavy! The apartment was supposely cleaned before we moved in,but, there were pee spots on the carpet and on one of the toilets, and lots of crumbs in the kitchen. As for parking, there's no guarantee that when you get back, there won't be someone else in your assigned space(forcing you to park in a visitor space).Maintenance is slow and reluctant to fix anything(taking several trips,to do simple repairs). And you have to light a fire under them,by calling and complaining to the office staff,to get them to complete what they started. When we moved in,there was dog poop on the sidewalk(and a razorblade)and in the grass, and, even though there's a leash law,a pitbull was running loose(thankfully,it was friendly).Basically,I would say that it probably is one of the nicest complexes in the Rose Park area, but, they need to at least make the apartments more energy efficient(more insulation, and have doors w/o large spaces under them),and spring for better cabinentry.Either that or charge a lot less rent!
