Great apartment complex - long time resident

Wow, I was shocked at all the negative reviews of this place. I've been there since 2003 with minimal problems. When I need a repair, it's done quickly and efficiently. The neighbors are fine. I've only had a few problems with parties etc, just the standard noise from the apartments above you. The staff is always friendly and has worked with me to give me discounts (much needed). As for the fees, that's standard with apartments. I paid $25 for an application fee and $99 for a deposit that was completely refunded my first month. The carpet and paint was all new when I moved in. The stove and microwave wasn't but they work fine. On top of that, I have a huge one bedroom apartment (probably the largest I've seen - almost 700 SF when most around here are closer to 600 SF - trust me, it makes a huge difference)and full size W/D hookups (very few 1 bedrooms have that). The only real complaint I have is the pet rent ($20 per month on top of a freaking deposit - I mean, come on, how much do you need') and that they keep raising my rent every time I renew. Considering I've been there 4 years, you would think they'd give me a break. It makes we wonder whats the point of being a good renter if I'm still punished for it'
