nightmare place to live

When I looked at the model apartments, this seemed like a great place to live. I signed the contract with the agreement that if I did not like my apt, I could move within twenty-four hours. Keep in mind they would not let me see my actual apt, they promised it would be the same as the model. As soon as I saw my new place, I was horrified! It looked NOTHING like the models! It reeked of cigarette smoke and was absolutely filthy. The toilet was even black inside the bowl. It was obvious the apt was not cleaned after the last resident. I called the office and was told that I could not move and that I had signed the contract. The quality of people who live in these apts is extremely poor. Twice I woke up in the middle of the night to hear someone trying to open my door. I would leave my laundry in the laundry room for five minutes and come back to find it stolen. The office and management team is a joke! After two months of fighting to get out of my contract, I finally just up and moved. I am still fighting them to this day, two years later. DON'T MOVE HERE!! These people are liars.
