I'm not out to get Sky Harbor Apartments. I should have signed a shorter lease. . . It's not the area, its the apartments. Here are a few reasons why: 1. They are VERY small. You can get bigger, nicer apartments for the same price, down the road. 2. Rent is due at the 1st of the month, and if not payed, a hefty $50 fee is attached. 3. The apartments smell like a nasty motel room. Smoke leeks through the pipes and stinks up your apartment. 4. The furniture that I rented from them is nasty. 5. No more than 15 minutes of hot water. (My girlfriend that also lived here said she only got 5 minutes.) 6. The freezer puts frost on everything. Your ice cream will become freezer-burnt if opened. 7. Ice chunks for in your milk, even when you turn up the temperature. 8. The oven and dishwasher are old and out-dated. 9. They won't let you have a satellite dish. 10. They treat their tenants like crap. Management is horrible. 11. The swamp coolers are old, no central heating/cooing. I could go on. . . Bottom line: Don't live here.
