When we moved in to this apartment we asked the front desk people if they cleaned the carpets thoroughly and they said oh yeah, they always do! Well when we moved in guess what...the carpet was really filthy! I mean it looked ok but my wife immediately broke out in hives. I went and rented a Rugdoctor and it sucked up alot of filth. I had to clean it 2 or 3 times before it was decent enough to live in. They say no pets but you've got to see the amount of people that have pets in this place. The ducts were filthy also. Moisture kept coming through the windows causing mold growth all through winter. We informed maintenance and the office and it was never fixed! When our lease was up we left the apartment in better shape than when we got it and guess what....some months later we find that sky harbor handed us over to a collections agency for a carpet cleaning fee and painting fee. STAY AWAY THEY WILL STILL TRY TO GET YOUR MONEY EVEN AFTER YOU LEAVE...I'M SURPRISED AAA APPROVES OF THIS PLACE!!

Yeah, I don't know what is up with the fact that they refer you to collections months later. I received a call from a collections agency telling me that I owed Sky Harbor $51.00 from "unpaid rent". I lived there 5 years ago and they are just now trying to contact me. The other crazy thing is, I paid my rent in full before I even moved in. The entire lease was paid up front, and now they're asking for a measly $51.00. I am sending them a letter of dispute because this is rediculous.
