Management is horrible!! Office staff is polite, courteous and tries to help, but the manager is arrogant, unsympathetic and couldn't care less about tenants problems. She is usually impossible to track down in times of crisis even by her own staff.
The drain in the north east section of the apts constantly backs up and floods leaving cars and personal items at risk. Multiple residents have had to unclog the drain themselves to protect their assests. Manager claims any rain is "an act of nature" and is not her responsibility. My car flooded and I had to total it and take a loss. Manager was hostile and upset that I even approached her about the apartment's insurance paying for my loss. This was after it took her office staff over an hour or so to even track her down because she doesn't respond.
When we first moved in the air conditiong never worked. Thermostat was broken and would leave the air conditioning on all day, racking up our bills. We had the maintenance come over 6 times to fix it. Each time they gave us a different excuse and it would work for a couple hours then go out again. They were just patching it up.
Roofing outside our front door is decayed from weather and falling apart all over our front porch. We have requested it to be fixed multiple times and nothing has been done.
Sidewalks are usually never shoveled until 11 am or so leaving people to go to work on ice and snow. Every other apt I have rented has had them shoveled by 7 am. Sidewalks have been icy and frozen lately. I don't know if salt is even used many times. Many of us have fallen down just walking from our cars to our front doors.
Ventalation is horrible. Other tenants have been smoking cigarretts and in some cases marijuana by the smell of it in their apts and the smoke comes right into our apt. Office staff did send a flyer around to request tenants from not smoking. But regardless, the ventalation sysem was put in cheap and not updated because fumes and smoke should be going outside and not into neighbors apartments.
I would never recommend this place to anyone. Again the only thing that has been decent are the few office staff that are pleasant to deal with. NOT THE MANAGER!!!
