Not worth the hassle

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008
I lived at Timber Creek for two of the worst years of my life. It was my first apartment so I didn't know any better. I had just about everything fall apart. The last straw was when I had a leak in my ceiling and it took two phone calls and two letters threatening a law suit and 100 days to fix. I literally dealt with a hole in my front room ceiling for over three months. The maintenance was for the most part useless. I bailed ship as soon as possible and demanded that my entire deposit be returned. I think that when a lawsuit was threatened they decided to not fight me because the refunded my entire deposit and I didn't have to do any cleaning or pay for any repairs.
Not only did I go through all that the grounds were a joke. Very rarely the lawn areas where suitable for any living creature other than bugs and bacteria as they were always soggy. The walks were rarely clear of ice or snow in the winter and the parking lot never got plowed.
They also offer a gated community. Well the gate never worked and everyone just followed another car in when they on occasion did work. Not effective security. The cops were there on numerous occasions and there were two fatal shootings accross the street in the time I lived there.
I would encourage everyone to not even bother with this property. You won't be happy there.
