I lived in the university apartments for 6 years as a child to a teen while my mother went to school i enjoyed the neighbors and the play grounds. The apartments were on such a big property i was able to have lots of grass to go lay out on. As i grew up in these apartments i met alot of friends that i grew up with while going to school just as there parents went to school but yes you get alot that come and go but the best part about it is you stay in contact over the years.I also helped out alot of student houseing parents that wanted a night out to themselfs by babysitting it was fun to me to be able to hang out and meet new kids.I lived in a 3 bedroom 1 bath apartment with 4 other siblings (all older than i was)but the funny thing is they all had friends there age in the apartments too. it was crouded but we managered. We weren't rich so we didn't have special floor carpets or whatever i spent most of my time playing outside after school. That way my mother was able to study. I thought i would share my storie as a child to a teen growing up there to help other parents realize that kids aren't going to be bord at all they will meet new friends that will last a life time.. I also remember our court's had parties like bar b q get togethers and picnic nights and movie nights... if you choose to live in these apartments i'm sure you will find alot of people in the same sitition you are in and if you have children no mater what age they will have friends that they will be going to school with too.
