I lived in the legends for a year and was overall pleased with everything. The staff was helpful, and the grounds and buildings were kept in good condition. Parking was a problem if you had a second car. Coming home late at night would cause problems. I could find parking, but it would be a very long walk to my building (which could be beneficial anyway).

One issue I did have was when we were looking at the complex I asked if the rent goes up after a 12 month lease. I was told that it would go up, but only a small amount (20 or 30 dollars a month). However, a few months before our lease was up we got a statement showing us the costs of rent after the lease. We could sign up for another 6 to 12 month lease, but pay 100 dollars a month more. We needed to do month to month since we were home shopping and couldn't be tied down to a contract, and the month to month price was going to be an increase of 200 dollars. Luckily we found a home and the move in dates worked out perfectly with when we moved out.

Overall the place is really nice and I enjoyed living there.
