My husband and I moved to River Oaks back in 2000, when it was pretty much brand new.
We liked our apartment (2bd. 1bth), it was neat and clean but not big. We lived on the top floor (3rd) and didn't have problems with noise or neighboors, it was very quiet and peaceful. The grounds were kept very clean and there was plenty of parking space.
We didn't have a chance to use the swimming pool but the workout facity was good at the time. The location is good and convenient, close to the freeway and everything else.
The price is not that great, we came from out of state last year and considered moving back there but it is way overprice, being that there are nicer and newer apt. communities in the valley, not that it's not a good apt. to live in, but for the price of the rent they are asking, you could find better places to live. If you are willing to spend more money, we recommend it.
