Spacious, but not worth the headaches that comes with this place....

My family was happy to move here, as the location on the Sandy/Midvale border is wonderful. Unfortunately, we quickly began to regret our choice of this property.

While the office staff and emergency maintenance folks are wonderful and friendly, everything else you have to put up with is just NOT WORTH LIVING HERE.

Our neighbors will yell at all hours of day (including all through the middle of the night); the police get called to this complex for domestic disputes weekly; groups of teenagers wander through the complex selling drugs, block walkways, (and even though security and the police have been called about this, they never show up until about 1 1/2 hours AFTER getting a call); even though parking stalls are reserved for those who pay for them folks happily and without care will take your stop and tell you what you can do to yourself for thinking you should be parking in the stall you pay for.

As for the apartment itself:
It has flooded twice in 5 months (once from the water heater pipes exploding, once from too much rain and the water leaked through the wall and flooded one of the bedrooms. We couldn't use the room for over a week, and they didn't even replace the carpet, just shampooed it. To this day, it still reaks. We should be buying stock in scented candles and Glade plug-ins with how much we use them in this room now!); when you flush a toilet an ear-piercing squeel comes from the pipes for about 2 minutes until the tank refills; the oven temperature is not set to the correct settings (to cook at 350 degrees, set your oven to 275... unless you like black charred food). When we moved in, the apartment was DISGUSTING. We could tell that they repainted and had the carpets cleaned, however the cleaners didn't actually vacuum up everything left from the prior tenants. Nails, screws, toe/fingernail clippings, clumps of animal hair, etc. were all over in each room. The bathrooms in and of themselves took a full day of scrubbing and disinfecting. The stains on the walls, tub/shower, counters, and floors were just ridiculous (we never figured out what the orange stuff was on the bottom of the tub, and we're not really sure we want to know)!

All in all, we wish we never moved into this complex. We are now counting down the days until our lease is up and can move out! :(
