I have lived at Fairstone for 2 1/2 years. When I moved here it was one of the nicest places in the valley, especially for the price. The management was bad, but at least they paid someone to pick up the dog poop. Apparently the new management company either believes that every pet owner is responsible enough to pick up their dog's waste or they are too cheap to care that every square foot of this place is covered in you know what. I always clean up after my dog, but now I'm starting to wonder what the point is. Every month I have to pay pet rent, and there are enough pet owners here also paying pet rent to afford someone to do poop patrol once a week. Management is so-so(It wouldn't hurt to hire a couple more people), but some of the building exteriors are getting delapidated and fast! The Apartment interiors are ok, nothing spectacular. There are alot worse places to rent, but alot of better ones, too. I'll be moving out in June! UPDATE: 2/27/08 Now that spring is almost here, they are attempting to spruce up the place. I saw someone out there picking up dog doo today and they have made some building repairs (The siding is no longer falling off the garage where they keep the maintenence guys' golf carts). We're still moving out in June, since I'm sure our rent will be raised and a house payment will cost only a little more for us. Also, it will be nice to have an oven that actually has a light inside and cost more than $10.00, not to mention we miss being able to use our grill. Overall, I guess this place isn't as bad as I originally wrote, and I am in a good mood today, so I had to revise this review slightly and make it a little more fair. Here are a few good things about this place: It seems fairly safe (we've never really worried much about break-ins, knock on wood), it's in a pretty quiet location with good freeway access, pretty good storage/closet space (counter space, however is not adequate so keep this in mind if you spend alot of time in the kitchen), and the tile floors are better than the linoleum in my last place. However, if you are looking at this place, don't move into the first floor, there is a serious issue with bugs and mildew! (Maybe from the jordan river')

complain, complain, complain. if you don't like it, then move out. and you think a home payment will be comparable to your apartment payment? only if your moving into a single-wide trailer (which from the sounds of it, it would fit you and your family and dog quite well) go complain somewhere else

Excuse me for trying to be thorough. Don't you want to know both the good and bad about an apartment you are looking at? Everything I wrote was absolutely true. And by the way, I did buy a HOUSE(not a trailer, although you do seem quite fond of them maybe YOU should look into one) for only $200 more/month in a nicer neighborhood than you came from.
