Paper thin walls and ceilings, expensive to live here and to own a pet. Noisy

We are between homes and are currently living in this complex awaiting the housing market to stabalize. This place is very expensive for what the apartments are; could be a house payment with much more square footage with a garage. If you can get into a home, (even renting) I would recommend that. The housing market is changing and hopefully lease amounts will appropriately lower. Many units are currently vacant, probably due to $$$. One can hear nearly everything neighbors are doing and saying. Some of my neighbors are frequent partiers, many times until 4:00 a.m. Law enforcement has been over for at least one voilence call, called by those attending the same party. My family has been overly patient. It's embarassing to have guests over. Loud music and loud talking nearly daily and throughout the late evenings and early mornings. Adjoining walls are thin and should be double sheetrocked. Floors should be layered with an additional board covering as you can hear the people walk above you. If neighbors yell, you can hear them through the ceiling. You have to pay extra for covered parking, garage and a storage shed. Heating bills are averaged amongst tenants. My last heating bill was about $50 less than a friend's heating bill who lives in a home more than twice the size of my apartment. If you conserve and your neighbors do not, you are paying part of their bills. Water billing is also averaged in your monthly statement. You pay your own power through the power company. Lawns are improperly watered -- lots of waste. Your foot sinks inches in areas if you step on the lawn. Other areas are bone dry. You help pay for this mismanagement. Grounds are kept pretty clean by management every morning considering lots littering. I pick up trash on my way to the dumpster to help out. Lawns and gardens are nicely groomed by contractors. Before you move in, CAREFULLY inspect: take photos of ANY small dings or dents in walls, chips or damage in cabinets, etc., because you will be billed. Qlkxv6lfLuuXn3BrtpO7
