Do not move here. This place is a complete dump. The management are horrible. I moved here from WI and had everything ready so I would just have to sign the lease when I got here. I waited in their office for almost two hours because they lost my file. Finally they found it and the apartment I was to be moving in wasn't ready yet. They just quickly put me in another. The apartment I am in hadn't been lived in for eight months and after they cleaned the carpet they never bothered to vacuum. The carpet was so stiff it hurt my feet to walk on. The never even offered to go over it with the vacuum to get the remaining cleaner out of it. There was garbage on the floor when I got here and there are toothpaste stains on the bathroom sink that can't be removed because they have been there so long. The kitchen is small and the cabinets are loose on the walls. The dishwasher can't be opened because the panel that can be opened for repairs is broke and comes crashing off. They promise a "seperate dining area", but that is a spot that is big enough for the small table I have. The weather stripping wasn't on the door and, even though, I have told them about it, there is no screen on the window in the living room. I am buying out my lease early. Partly because of a family emergency that will cause me to go back to WI, but mostly I just have to get out. The playground equiptment is in front of my place and is a complete disaster. Most is broken completely. The laundry room is a mess. The dont clean it and when they do its just everything being sprayed with windex. They were promised to be near the TRAX, but if you want to walk its almost three miles. I am sure to catch the bus because this is a pretty crappy neighborhood. I dont trust staying out after dark. There have been gunshots and people yelling about getting their guns. I have had other tennents watching my TV through the window at night. I dont bother with leaving the blinds open. I dont know how they screen people, but this place just can't be trusted. This place is hell and the people that work here are complete idiots. Most of their answers are "I don't know." or "I'm not sure". Its just not worth coming to unless you can't find anything else. There are also a lot of spots where the walls had to be patched. Some of the spots in my unit are about the right size for a bullet. I have traveled all around this city and in my own apartment I feel least safe.
