I lived in the Broadmoor Village Apartments for 1 year. I recently moved out about 1 month ago. My father use to work maintenance on these apartments and he has told me some pretty nasty things about the apartments, like how they didn't build the foundation right when they first built the apartment so all of them flooded and now there is a huge mold infestation, and you dont even want to know stories about the swimming pool. I should've listend to him but I couldn't turn down $450 a month. I soon found out why their rent is so cheap, cheap apartments. While we were living there in the first month, our window leaked (they never did fix it), our bathroom wall grew mold all up and down it (something maintenance tried to cover with paint), our electricity didn't work in our bedroom for a couple months after repeated calls to maintenence, our washer was taring up our clothes, and when they said they would get us a new one it took them 3 months! Carpet was stained, many holes and crack in walls with ------ cover up job. Our air conditioner stopped working in the summertime. Hot water lasted about 1 minuted in the shower. They could care less about criminal background checks, I checked the sexual pedifile website and there are many living in the Broadmoor Village Apartments, also there is a lot of drug use, it was obvious the people below me smoked marijuanna, my apartment would reak of it when I got home from work, not to mention I had to call child services on them for beating their kids. My boyfriend and I were held hostage in our car when an angry drunk, who was our neighbor, jumped in. Almost all neighbors play loud banging music at 3:00 AM and management does nothing about it. Dont listen to the people saying the apartments arn't bad, maintenance does take care of the front apartments because those are the ones showing to the public. They did redo a lot of things but its all just new paint hiding old problems. Parking is bad, there is not enough lighting, scary because of all the rapists and drunks lurking around. I've also been harrassed on numerous occassions by maintenance, a problem that I went to management with, they told me that they were having trouble with that but they didnt even do anything about it. Living there was the worst experience of my life! So bad, that I moved out before I could even find another place to live. I now live with my parents and I'm accually a lot happier and feel a lot safer. Broadmoor Village Apartments have an environment that nobody should have to live in.

I lived at Broadmoor Village for over a year and a half. My experience has been awesome. The maintenance staff was good. They fixed my dishwasher and my A/C when it quit working. The management was very responsive to my complaint of the neighbors. I had a neighbor who was playing their music rather loudly, and it was taken care of the next day. I saw the manager go over, knock on the door and I heard part of the conversation. We didn't have any other problems. The other residents who live around us are terrific. They're hard working families who need a nice place to stay. We've really enjoyed our time here and were sorry to go. We wouldn't have moved, but we bought a house in Riverton. This was a nice place to stay. Whoever wrote this review obviously was disgruntled...

yes, I was disgruntled... I did after all have mold growing, leaks that weren't repaired, a washer that tore up my clothes, lights that didn't work, stained carpet, and oh yeah... being held hostage in my car and living next to a man who beat his kids! I didn't just make up everything. I'm not saying that you didn't enjoy your time at Broadmoor, I guess you just have very very low standards of living, 95% of these reviewers agree with me. It is factual that 95% of the apartments have mold problems, electrical problems and leaking roofs, I know this because I found the information through where I work. Just cause you got lucky with your one apartment unit doesn't mean its all around a good place to live. Also did you ever check the sexual predator website and see how many of them live at broadmoor? its shocking!
