This Place is Awful, I should have listened to the reviews before I moved In!!!

This place is awful. I haven't had one single good expirence since I moved in. My apartment was filthy the day before we were supposed to move in and did the walk through. You'd think after 2 weeks of calling and coming in and signing papers they would at least check the place to make sure it was clean! The office staff even asked me if I wouldn't mind just cleaning a few things when I moved in, Uh I don't think so! They promised new vinyl fencing in the Spring, it is now August and still nothing. Not surprising though, they don't maintain anything in the complex. I have asked them to fix my screen door 3 times and once when I called one of the girls in the office told me to just stop one of the maintinence guys and ask them to fix it real quick. I thought that was their job. Well the screen is STILL not fixed! Once I asked them to replace the vents on the closet door of the utility closet because they used black silicone around the edges and it was all over the door and looked disgusting and they just came back and put huge globs of white silicon over it instead! I had to ask them to finally replace the entire closet doors so what do they do, cut two doors in half and hang them. Looks so ghetto just like the rest of the place. Anyhow, the office staff here is horrible, maitinence half a**es everything they do, and the place is a dump! I am sooooooo happy to pay a lease breakage fee and get the hell out of this place. Definately worth it. I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE! The rent is over priced and you don't get much for your money!!

No, to the last response. Mindy is better and easier to talk than Rikki ever was! Trust me Rikki was a sneaky liar. We get out soon too! Finally after two years of crap! They never fixed our mold problem either! I made my way through Wasatch corporate offices and finally got problems solved. I think that if people have mold and they don't take care of it...Report it to Utah Health Department. Seriously! These guys are crazy here. Don't call the after hours emergency number-I've tried several times in two incidents, what if there was a water main that broke? or and electrical problem?! Hello. I'M WARNING ANYONE WHO READS THIS...STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Not a joke people! 19% out of 100% with tons of reviews, thinke about it!!!!!

I agree with you. The place is awful. I'm surprised that they told you to stop one of the maintenance guys. They told us NEVER to do that because they need to issue a work order to maintain a paper trail. Their work ethic, both in the office and their maintenance guys, is really awful. They are terrible to work with. We tried to give our 30 days written notice to them. They took a WEEK to get their new system up and running. That is why they should have TWO systems. One should be on the computer and the other should be done manually so that when the computer is down, they can still file things on time. They even told us "come back tomorrow and it should be up by then." It took a whole week when it should have only been five minutes. I am not surprised with the way that they fixed your problems. It is unbelievable how they try to cover up the problem instead of fixing it right the first time. I have experienced that myself. We had a leak in our bathroom and it was behind the wall by the shower. Well, the more showers we took, the more water would leak out. When you don't see the problem until it turns to mold, it makes it hard to fix. We called management three or four times to come out and fix it. They told us that they didn't see it as an emergency. Yet in their lease, they say that no mold is allowed. When they came to "fix" it, all they did was plaster over the brown spot on the wall. Then they removed the base board behind the door and they haven't been back since. Behind the base board is BLACK. It's been like that for a month. We can call and call until we are blue in the face and they won't do anything about it. I'm just glad we are getting out of there by the end of August. Good luck finding a better place to live. Get out of there if you can.

I don't know what happened with this place. When we lived there, the staff was good and the amintenance was good. Maybe all the good ones left? Rajan
