WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T MOVE HERE!

For your own sake, do not move here! The office staff is not helpful at all! For a two bedroom apartment, they only offer one covered parking spot. (That you have to pay for.) If I get home after 8:00 at night, and my room mate gets home before me and takes our covered spot, I have to park about 1/2 mile away from my apartment and walk through the slummy ghetto to get home, in the dark! About 3 months ago, after forgoing this problem quite a bit, I started noticing that there were some covered parking spots around my apartment that weren't getting used. I went to the leasing office to see if they would be willing to "sell" me one of the other parking spots, as there were some vacancies, and I was continually worried about my saftey walking so far at night, being a 20 year old woman and all. The girl in the leasing office stated that it is not possible to sell me one of the other parking spots. SHE ADVISED ME TO GO BUY A CAN OF PEPPERSPRAY AT THE STORE! No joke. What kind of office staff would suggest that I go buy a weapon, rather than trying to find away that will ensure my safety'
As I mentioned before, I have a room mate. Once a month, each of us go to the leasing office and give them a money order for half of the rent. One time, one or the other of us accidentally got the amount just barely off. Apparently, one of us was 37 cents short with our money orders. Of course, we didn't know or even think about it. About a week later, we got a notice on our door, stating that if we do not pay $00.37 in 3 days, we would have to pay a $50.00 late fee for rent. We went to the leasing office and reached in our pockets to give them 37 cents, as they refused to wave it off or even just bump it over to the next month's rent. The rude office attendant stated that we would need to get a money order for the 37 cents. We had to go pay the fee for a 37 cent money order! Not helpful at all! One of my neighbors told me that he had this same experiance with ONE cent.
This apartment complex is way overpriced, my apartment is completely falling apart. They make the model apartment look great when you first come in, and it is a cute floor plan. However, everything falls apart. When you lean on the counter in my bathroom, the counter tips up. The closet doors do not work, and they fall of their hinges all the time. Please do not move her. The office staff girls are extremely rude and **tchy. Their favorite expression is: "Sorry, it's not our responsibility."
