I would have had great time Living at Broadmoor village apartments if you were to take out the people in the front office and about 90% of the tenents living there. The office will only care and seem nice to you when you are signing a lease, but as soon as your out the door your just another check that they bring in and any help or simpathy that you might get some where else you can forget about that.
For starters it's very comfortable in the morning when your walking to your car and have to look over your shoulder afraid that you going to be knifed in the kidney, all from the day before when you were driving through the complex and were stared down by every person as if you just kicked their mother in the teeth it seems to be a handicap of everyone living there.
My wifes front windshield was smashed in with bricks for no other aparent reason than just the normal fun activities around the complex. I went in to the Front office to see if by some Miracle that they had a security company that drove around at night but they didnt all i got was "thats to bad." and just to show their sympathy a week and a half later the they had her car towed. When i called to see why' all i got was a chirpy little smug girl who's only line to me was "we'll unfortunatly it's in your lease that the vehicle has to be in running condition."
But she didnt seem to care that we were out over 500 bucks for no other reason than living there $200 for a new windshield and $300 for them towing it.
The icing on the cake is when you come home with your 3 year old daughter in the back seat and as you pull up to your building, or try to pull up to your building and you cant get to a parking spot because there are 5 police cars two crime scene unit cars and a mobile command bus, ya really nice. it's always good to see crime scene tape around your building and you have to ask the police if it's ok to go into your apartment. a murder, yes a murder HONESTLY come on this place is out of control. come to find out happened by the guy your wife sees every day on her way to the car and always mentions how creepy looking he is. The wierd thing is i really wasn't surprised at all after what i've been through at this place. If i can stop one person from moving here i've done my duty and, may have even saved someones life, LITERALLY.

Having lived there for 2 1/2 years I watched as one by one of the good people were forced to move out because rent kept climbing higher and higher. We lived at the front so I wasn't worried about crime so much. We moved out before the murder, but there were two fires there while we lived there, one of which did some pretty substantial damage.

I agree with you about the office staff. They would sell their mothers false teeth if it ment more $ in their pockets. A word of advise!!! Get the walkthrough when you move out and make sure all the "cleaning" and "damages" are in writing. They will charge you for toilet paper if they could.

You people are funny!!! That is all I need to say. Have you read the "Crime free" portion of your lease. Read it again and you may need to revise your statements.

I totally agree with you, this place is a dump, and I feel like most of my neighbors have a record of some kind. Parking is horrible if you have two vehicles and I am sorry to hear about your windshield. The little neighbor boy throws rocks at my windows to terrorize my kitten. I don't know how reading the lease would help - matter of fact is that someone was murdered in the apartment unit next to mine (ours) and I don't know what part of that is "crime free". Maybe they should use all the money we pay them to hire a little security. And I will take your advise and do the walkthrough, I am breaking my lease 7 months early to move out!

Yes, Broadmoor Village truly is worthless. There is NO security whatsoever. People eyeball you when you walk around or drive through the complex, the mainenance staff is a joke, you do not get what you pay for at all(you get MUCH LESS), and the leasing staff is enought to make you feel like hyperventilating. Whenever you have some sort of problem, their response is "Unfortunately it's not our responsibility....." or "That's too bad, but we're not responsible for......" or some similar thing. Absolutely worthless. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I enjoy the office staff over there and if people really knew how much they truly do care about the residents they would feel pretty bad making comments like "they would sell false teeth just to get $ in their pockets". That's just rude. It's not the office team or maintenance team's fault that there was a horrible incident there a while ago. Can you imagine what they now have to go through.... it wasn't them who committed the crime.

I recently went and toured the place to see about moving in. It looked ok, and apts were fairly big. But when I asked about security/crime the answer was "you'll have to call the West Jordan police department for that information." In other words... the police department is all too familiar with the complex?? As soon as she said that my gut told me there was a murder in the complex- I'm not kidding. I have been waiting until I could check with the police about any incidents, but these posts confirm my suspicions. I'm sure the place isn't all bad - but murder is a bit out of my comfort zone for a place to live!! Clearly they need some security there, and you'd think they would do that if they really wanted people to be safe.

I lived there for 3 mo, in which the plants on my porch were thrown away from the 2nd floor, FOR NO REASON, i got scared and went to the office but they told me that they are not responsible for that, they told me that next time that i hear something "call the police" staff is rude and not helpfull at all, i broke my lease and moved out.. DO NOT MOVE HERE
