Don't Move Here!

Despite all of the nauseatingly positive reviews - I am not pleased. It took a week to make us regret signing the lease. It looks like a ten year old did the dry wall mudding and painted the entire place, the carpet was peeling up around the corners, and there was damage, not to mention the master closet door is painted olive green that no one noticed until I called the office. I don't really care about the details of the place, as long I as don't get charged when I leave ( I took digital pictures of the damage before we moved in and had them filed in the office). It is TINY for the two bedroom plan, the kitchen leaves much to be desired and the cabinet space is hardly enough to hold anything. But its more the fact the tenants are annoying and destructive and I don't even know where to start.
Whether it's the all day and all night outdoor-daycare next door or the children throwing rocks and breaking your windows (which I was charged for, how do we know it wasn't you breaking your own windows they said) or the fact that someone was murdered in the complex adjacent to mine (police were there from about 9 am to 5-6 pm that day with the full mobile unit) this place is deplorable. Not to mention getting oggled by your neighbor like a horny schoolboy and 10 of his friends. The pool is unusable in the summertime because of the sheer volume of kids floating in it ( that don't use the showers. Oh and their 9 o'clock quiet policy' It isn't enforced. The kids run around screaming well into the night, and then you get to listen for their mother screaming for them instead of just rounding them up herself. Oh and my neighbor smokes his pot in his ran-down car that is 20 years old everyday at 7 pm. If the tenants were a little more considerate and if they remembered they live in an apartment complex with other people around them, it wouldn't be half as bad.
Oh and to the people that list the positive reviews - maybe you are fortunate enough to live in a quiet building, but the cops have been out here at least three times since I have moved in ( all after midnight), not counting the murder, and I have only been here since September. I pay my rent on time, I do not keep a "broken down car for the world to see" and my husband and I aren't your usual white trash (apologies to those who are trapped in their leases) that rent here, we both have masters degrees. I just happened to make a bad judgment call moving here- I am from out of state and was did everything over the phone and online - and learned my mistake the hard way. I am breaking my lease 9 months early at the end of the month. I don't care how much it costs.
