I moved here in 2003. The main reason I moved in here is because they allow pets and it was close to where I work. I have had no major problems since moving in except one. There was a leak on the ceiling near my fireplace. As soon as I noticed it I reported it to the office. Maintenance put some caulk around the chimney base on the roof. It did not help. The wall got softer and softer until a big blob of plaster/joint compound fell out of the wall and on to my carpet. This left a hole about 1'X 1' with insulation hanging out of it. I again told the office and a maintenace man came over and saw the hole. Shocked, he said he would start repairs the next morning. He never came back. So I just let it go. For the next several months I would remind the office that nothing had been done when I would drop off my rent. Then some guy from the head office was doing safety and health checks, I showed him the hole. He asked how long it had been like this. I told him almost a year. He called the office on his cell phone and asked for a maintenance person to meet him at my unit. He showed up and the guy laid into the maintenance man. I was assured repairs would take place the next day. Well they were started as another huge amount of joint compound was dumped into the hole. Thats as far as it went. So for almost another year I would from time to time put in a work order for it to be finished. I had another minor problem come up and I showed the wall to the guy at that time. Finally, after two years my wall was fixed correctly and I have had no further problems. Overall, I have enjoyed my time here but dont know why it took so long to get my wall fixed. I have started to look for a house however. Its an average place to live but is way overpriced! Extra is charged for washer/dryer, parking, and theres pet rent on top of the base rent price. You know, after reading my review I dont know why I've stayed as long as I have. Just too lazy to move I guess.
