Ive lived here at Willow Cove for about 6 months or so. My fiance and I moved from Ohio and its ALOT better than what we were dealing with back there. We signed a 1 year lease and to tell you the truth, we probably wont sign again. Management seems really nice and helpfull, especially when they are taking your money. However when it comes to up keeping on the landscaping and other residents, well thats another story. There are kids constantly ringing my door bell as if it is a game. We tell them its not funny and to knock it off, but they continue. Outside our building, the landscapers have not done anything since winter time to the yard. The grass is dead, from the dog piss or just lack of grass seeds. There is bear dirt exposed everywhere and when the sprinklers go off...it becomes a muddy mess. And those kids love to ride their bikes through the mud of course and make a bigger mess. One other thing the children do is leave out their bikes, wagons and other trash from playing the preivous day on the walkways. Managment has placed notices on our doors to put the items away or they will confiscate them, well they it stuff is still out there and its been a week now so that was a lie. As for maintance, when we moved in we had alot of requests and they were pretty good on getting things fixed. The only time they pissed us off was when they had out side contactors come to look at our balcony one week and called us prior to them coming to make sure it was ok if we werent home. We allowed them to enter of course...BUT...2 weeks later they entered again to replaced a slit in the carpeting without alerting us prior to entering and left our door unlocked for the whole day. I thought that was pretty shady of them to do this and we called them all managment stated was that we gave them prior permission to enter, we replied with...Yea 2 weeks ago! So we gave them a DO NOT ENTER notice unless we are home now. The pet policy is ridiculous here. They charge way too much...$45 for 2 pets. I have a cat and a dog. Now I know my dog may be worth 20 a month for rent but my cat sleeps all day...she is not worth that much!!! And the deposit for them to get in here, $400''' Retarted! One last thing, on their website http://166.70.18.160/default.htm it states and shows they have gazebos and a dog park with lushous gardens...bull! They sold that property over a year ago and now its this dead area where people walk their dogs and dont clean up after them. Dont let them tell you they still have it because they will never update it again. As for the pool, and the fitness room...they are both really small. The pool gets over croweded and its like the community wash hole so you have to go in the early morning hours to get a clean spot. And the fitness room smells like piss, and there is no windows to get fresh air in there.
So Ive got another 6 months left here Im going to post another review once Im out of here on how things went when I moved out. But if your looking for a place to live and your willing to deal with this kind of stuff, well be their guest. I know I wont be here another year.
