Moving Out!

What happened to the doorman' What happened to a 24-hour front desk' What happened to the cab phone' What happened to prompt response for maintenance issues' The rear doorpad was broken for 2 days before it was fixed (it's a lot of fun to have to walk all the way around the building, or wait for someone to come out to get in the place you LIVE!)...and why do I have to use my keycard to get OUT of the parking lot' I understand keycard access to get IN, but most other apartments have sensors to let you OUT.
Another issue with this high-rise is allowing tenants to have dogs. Luckily the very soundproofed walls have hindered much of the barking sounds, but I literally saw one tenant's dog pee in the hallway....and since there is very little grass area...guess what is happening to it'
As others have mentioned, the rising utility bills, reduced service, and much less personable management make this place much less appealing than it was when I moved in back in 7/01. A year ago, I would recommend this place as the location is great...but not anymore.
As a sidenote, they do have a dry-cleaning service...but dont use them. They don't do a very good job and are more expensive than most. THIS has changed for the worse as opposed to when I moved in as well.
