This place continues to deteriorate each month. Most recently, last week at 2 AM a water pipe burst and at least 8 units suffered MAJOR flooding and damage. Management never even had the decency to write a letter to the affected residents to explain what happened and to apologize for any inconvenience. The leasing office loves to play the blame game. Any and every time something goes wrong or a resident complains about something the response is always the same. They never apologize. They never sympathize. They simply blame someone else. Rents keep going up a whopping 10% a year (while inflation is only 3% a year). Utilities used to be free but now run $150/month!! The business center computers are always broken or even MISSING. There is no accountability with this management team. If you arrive home after 10 PM forget about finding any available parking.

As a former resident of 300l for five years and former property manager within Alexandria, I agree with you. Keep your tenant's insurance current for your sake and document everything.
The management of today could care less about the residents -- the primary concern is get the monthly rental check on time. Nothing more -- nothing less. You must protect yourself at all cost. Continue to talk to your neighbors and work toward improving 3001.
