Nice enough, but not worth the money

The building itself is nice enough, but for $1,400/month rent for an 800 sq. ft. one bedroom apartment, there certainly wasn't anything extraordinary about the place. The office staff and daytime concierge all have gone out of their way to be helpful and accomodating, but the evening concierge usually seems incompetent. The pool is nice but the gym sucks. The barbecue patio usually is nice, but this year my husband and I had to hop the fence and steal the poolside furntiture to sit at because all the patio furniture had disappeared.
I lived here almost two years and never heard a peep from my neighbors. the walls, floors, and ceilings are thick.
The feature (or lack of) that I truly disliked is that there is no balcony. The building is set up like a hotel, so you have to walk down very long corridors to get to your apartment and once inside, you are cooped up. I got very claustrophobic with no immediate outside access.
