3001 Park Center is a paradox. The building, grounds, and apartments are beautiful, in large part due to the recent renovation. Maintenance is responsive. Until recently, I enjoyed living here. The downside: safety, party noise, and a hot gym. The managerial staff is friendly, but largely inefficient. Lack of communication with the residents on the ongoing renovation was a huge issue, as well as forming "cliques" with the residents. A party was held on the renovated patio over the weekend in which my neighbor had to call the police due to the noise. This could well be understood if the partyers were primarily young adults, however, the partyers were mid-age, and included the senior mangagement of the complex! Additionally, when liquor starts flowing, discussions of residents' personal lives are discussed by the managerial staff (yes, this can be heard through the open windows). I don't know if I can take another weekend of not being able to sleep due to the noise, and wondering if my details of my personal and financial life will be be discussed. Additionally, the gym is too hot to work out in, and parking lot security is a huge problem. The city lights surrounding the complex are out (I counted 11), making it unsafe to walk in the evenings after work (especially during the winter when dark comes early.)

It is very unfortunate that you could hear management speaking about the residents' personal lives and financial life. This is a shame and totally not professional at all. If they want to drink and have fun with residents it is one thing but in their position it is very unethical to talk about other residents personal lives. In this case they should stop hanging out socially with residents???. I have seem a group that always gather together and love alcohol and in general seems very lonely people, either retired, or a group of single mature women or man that need beer everyday??? they seemed to enjoy chatting, but never thought they were more interested in people???s personal life than in their own. Maybe that is why they are where they are and can???t move on. In general unhappy people needs to talk about others to feel good about themselves. I feel pity for them.

I recently toured this community on the recommendation of a coworker and current tenant. Your comment on staff discussing tenants and financial business does seem possible. I hear the staff and patio party group very often get together on evenings enjoying plenty of spirits. Thanks for a confirmation.
