Not bad

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
When I first moved into the apartment I had no complaints. I absolutely loved the amount of space and cleaniness of the apartments. The landscape is very well kept and I always had compliments from visitors about how nice they were. I never had issues with maintanence the entire year I was there until the last month. Water was leaking into our neighbors apartment under us. We had no obivious water in our apartment, but there apparently was a broken pipe or valve somewhere. They shut our water off that night and did not tell us. The next morning we had no water for showers, bathroom usage or breakfast. Needless to say I was not happy. It was fixed by the time I returned from work.
The prices are very expensive, but they are spacious and nice. I only had to pay $300 for the pet deposit and $150 I got back. Although the apartments are located right next to Fort Belvoir, the area can be very dangerous. My boyfriend had his car radio stolen out of his car and they was a recent sexual assault that took place in the parking lot. There were other circumstances involved with the assault, but it still made me uneasy about going to check the mail after dark.
Overall I really liked the place, but the price and crime was enough to make me move somewhere else.
