It's the least nasty option in the area.... From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/28/2005 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005   We lived here for about two years. Whe we moved in it really was very good, but things have definitely gone down in the past 8 months. It is starting to go very ghetto. Crime is increasing in the area with gang murders, assaults, etc. We no longer felt safe walking outside at night. The people who are moving in are mostly people that have been kicked out of apartments that have been turned into condos and can't afford to buy them. Tenants are increasingly obnoxious, loud and dirty. Management changed hands several times. The current staff is very poor. You have to go straight to Maxine (the manager) - she's the only one that gets stuff done. She's the best manager they've had, actually. Having said all this, this place is still the nicest and least ghetto/gangland apartment complex in the Alexandria area. No Parking problems. Apartments are reasonably sized, and the rates are very good. If you can't afford to buy, you probably won't do much better than this without spending SIGNIFICANTLY more or living a long way out of the city. aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb
