Abbots Run is One of the Nicest Place to Live in the Area

This summer will make two years that I have beeen living at Abbots Run. It is beautiful and for the most part culturally diverse as far as it's tenants are concerned. I will definitely be renewing my lease. I heard a mention of crime in the area but when reviewing the crime reports there is none to be found. The grounds are well kept and the office staff is always ready to assist you. My repairs have been completed within 24 to 36 hours...ALWAYS. My neighbors include working professionals as well as stay at home Moms and Military personnel. When I first arrived, everything was in excellent condition including brand new carpets. Re; the trash problem, there is a trash compactor and tenants keep leaving the trash outside of it instead of placing it inside, management has been making every effort to correct the problem by having their maintenance staff stay on stop of it and addressing the issue with the tenants. It was overflowing on Mondays from trash left over the weekends, NOT DAILY. I have NEVER had a parking space issue and it is one of the few developments where visitors don't need to have a sticker in order to visit you or have to be concerned about being towed. Re; the washers and dryers, yes, they are apt. sized as are most, if I need to do a comforter, I drop it off at the dry cleaners or run it to the laundermat. Geez, what is wrong with people. What are they trying to wash in there' I have a real fireplace and never hear a peep out of my neighbors. I see no sign of my development going "ghetto." There is a beautiful pool and 24 hour fitness facility on the property too. I have to wonder if all of this negativity isn't coming from somewhere else....

Nothing on the crime reports?? Are you on crack??! Try googling "woodlawn gable drive" fairfax county police
Substitute any of the street names for the above. Everything from thefts to a serious sexual assault that made the Washington Post! Methinks management are posting biased reviews here... hmm...

If this happened at Abbotts run why would you put Abbottsrunrules, and why do you still live there? If someone is giving there opion why do they have to be on crack? Crime happens anywhere you go! I live here and no crime has happened to me personally or any of my neighbors and if I thought it was a bad area I would not have moved here!
