If you choose to live here and I hope that you don't be very careful when you're moving out. We left prior to the inspection of our unit and almost 2 months after the fact they are saying that we owe them an enormous amount of money for damages that I know were not there when we left. I would advise anyone thinking about moving to Abbott's Run to seriously reconsider. This place is HORRIBLE !!!

I stayed at at this apartment for two years and the carpets were not new when I moved in, and there WERE some minor issues that I logged on my move-in condition checklist. I housetrained two puppies in this apartment, and YES there were alot of accidents. I'm positive the carpet needed replaced due to stains from my pets, stains from my clumsiness, and overall wear (practically a path from the door to the kitchen). They did NOT charge me a dime!! Maybe if you didn't live like a slob, or maybe cleaned up after yourself when you moved out then you wouldn't be charged cleaning fees and damages. They returned all of my security and pet deposits so they aren't out to rip people off. If the damage was there when YOU moved in then you should have logged it on the checklist. If YOU damaged it then you should have to pay for it... if you locked the door when you left then there shouldn't have been a problem. I was not present for the walk-through (I had already moved across the country) and like I said, there were no issues because it was obvious I did my best to protect their property and clean it to the best of my abilities when I left.

I had the same problem when I moved out! They claimed that my dog messed up the carpet to the point of having to replace it! Please do your walk through when you leave. I believe they have the maintenance people go in and mess up the carpet and any other things so that they may have a reason to charge additional money on your account when you are moving out! Beware people of those early termination fees? Dont expect to have it waived, regardless of what your circumstances may become! Please do not ever be one day late on the rent. Those nice late charges will be there to greet you with a smile $195.00. You will find the notice on your door when you come home after 5:00PM! Just keep smiling�¢���¦so that the maintenance crew will not get you, especially the over weight one who rides the cart. Watch out for him!
