I moved into my apartment and there were so many things wrong with the place to include black rings around the toilet bowls, ashes in the toilet bowls, chipped sinks in bathroom that have been resurfaced so many times that you can see the different layers through the chips, cigarrette burns on bathroom floor and sink vanity, food in the microwave door screen and oil in the dishwasher that came from vents they tried to wash clean and reuse. The dryer does not dry your clothes until you have run the cycle at least two times. This is an old property with a lot of potential. They need to invest some money into the apartments old worn out cabinets, doors, bathrooms and upgrade the insides of the apartments. This looks like the projects but the price tag reflects finer standards. Every time I go to complain about something, I am made to feel as if I owe THEM something and that I should not be complaining. They need some customer service training and a manager to reflect the image that the residents are what matters the most! Without your residents, you will have no income...think about it...The grounds and parking areas are not well lit and it is an open invitation for vandalism and theft.

Glad somebody is listening!! I left Abbotts Run apts. in 31 Oct 05. The best thing that could ever happen to me. This place is not for the military!!

Hi- I don't want to rag on the place or defend it. I just wanted you to know that when we fist moved in the dryer didn't seem to worked either. Thankfully my parents happened to have been helping me move and stayed a few days. When my dad took the dryer hose off it was packed! It could have been a major fire hazard as the dryer wasn't able to vent. After clearing it out (we actually replaced it with a metal vice plastic hose) it worked fine. It's something you might want to check.
