I have been at Abbott's Run for over a month now and it has been a good experience. The area is quiet and my neighbors are friendly and helpful (I was locked out once and everyone around me helped out by letting me use their phones until I could get a spare key). The grounds and apartment interiors are clean and the maintenance staff is very friendly. I got a recently renovated apartment (which was a little extra on rental price) but all of my appliances are new and I have a fireplace. Although the office staff could be more kind, I think they do the best they can. Our leasing agent is on maternity leave and she was wonderful. I never have a problem with parking, either.
I only wish the apartment was closer to the metro, but for what I'm paying I can afford the transportation. I moved here out of state without seeing the apartment in person and I believe it was a good choice overall.

i recently moved in myself, and so far so good. i think. my unit was occupied by a smoker, so it took some time to get the smoke out mixed in with the paint smell, and the spiders are another issue. i told the office about the minor issues i had, and they fixed it within 2 days. just a little weary about the older kids that roam around the parking lot. im surprised to see the negative responses, i guess anywhere you go, anything could happen.
