I have lived here for 3 years and I guess I'm a prima donna. My neighbors are trashy, lazy and rude... not all of them, of course, but it seems that the bad ones out-weigh the good. My car has been vandalized twice and hit once with no notification. My husbands car has been walked on leaving remnants of muddy shoes on the hood. The maintainence has almost entered my unit while I was in the shower. Maintainence also cut a hole in my wall and did the most shoddy job of plastering it back. My washer/dryer needs to be run twice in order to clean and dry my laundry. I have been called "cracker folk" by the neighbors. There have been fist fights at 3am. Screaming matches outside at 2am. The groundskeepers damage your car with the edge trimmers by spitting up rocks... The airconditioning leaks and floods the carpeting. I quietly close my door when I leave and run to my car as fast as I can because I'm scared my neighbors are going to attack me. The stairway to get upstairs to my unit door has detatched from the wall and is floating. THe stairs to get to the level above me (concrete stairs)... one stair came pummelling down on the floating stairway and was left there for days with rebar and concrete splayed everywhere. The dog poop issue is disgusting. Dog poop everywhere... Don't walk on the grass. None of my doors close properly. Is it really bad of me to think that these things should not be this way when I pay just under $1500 a month'' I could buy a $300,000 home.. and that's just what we've done... Moving soon!! Can't wait to get out of this hell!

Lived there for 1 year and this sounds way far fetched and unbelievable. It's pretty quiet and most of the tenants are military. If the stairs are the way you say they are, you can call the fire department to get that inspected for safety. Furthermore, who in their right mind who does NOT own a dog, would walk across the grass of a pet friendly apartment complex?

This sounds far fetched to me too and I agree with the responder that most people are military and nearly all of the above problems could be fixed with notice. The apartment complex is safe and I have never heard fights or had any problems with my kind/quiet neighbors.
