Driving by one thinks this is the place to live...NOT!! The leasing office staff is not only unprofessional but more often than not incompetent (do not let the golf cart ride on the property fool you). The units are spacious yet in a state of "hidden traps". The water damage throughout my unit (and others) is continuous and expected. Mold had set in the walls due to the water and the contractors were told to paint over it rather that fix it. Flush the toilet and the tub drain bubbles with muck (imagine that while showering). Lately, the buildings and grounds have not been maintained for long periods of time. Therefore the rodents run through the parking lot and along the front of the buildings having a field day. If you can not be at home when contractors are scheduled lock your belongings and leave a note telling them what areas not to go in because they will roam and go through your belongings (cabinets, frig, etc.) The leasing manager is not only unavailable but when you do speak with her she is condescending, unprofessional and unknowledegable of the property. The utilities are the biggest ripe off any tenant can experience. The bill is split with all tenants, based on unit size and occupancy (yes, even having a minor who does not generate income is charged a %). Vacant units lightning are left on 24/7 and is factored into your % of the bill. Go on vacation and come back to a $120 to $150 bill for an apartment you haven't been in for 2 weeks. If anyone says this is a great place to live, smack the hell out of them and walk back to your car. Lastly, a $230 rent increase for a unit with cracking thin walls, dirty hallway, the unit doors not painted or kept up, crappy parking, unprofessional staffing, old windows that are drafty, rodents meeting you at the front as if they were doormen is not what I want to pay for. I guess I just don't appreciate NPV's extra "amenities". Folks move out more so than move in or renew their lease here. Keep your sanity, look elsewhere.

Absolutely agree. Utility bill just goes up, no matter what you do. Rodents? 2 mice, one killed by the exterminator, the other by a glue trap I placed. Mold? Had to live 6 weeks with a hole in the bathroom.
It took them 3 days to clear the snow from the sidewalks. Meanwhile, we had to tip toe to go to work or walk on the street. Moving out in a month!
