I was about to see my doctor for my severe nightsweats which is are a sign of many seriuos sicknesses then after speaking with a few people who have since confirmed the air conditioning is turned off at night. All you need is a digtial temp. guage and you can see when you go to be and leave the a/c running all night and its 70 you wake up at 2 am sweating the temp is up to 82 theres a problem. Also you can feel the vets are not blowing a/c air at night. It was 100 yesterday and will be again today and until the end of the week however we have no a/c at night. Whats odd is WE pay the bill so why do they care' I guess the missed the news story that it actually TAKES MORE energy to recool all the apartments then to leave it at a constant temp. What morons. They think they are conserving energy but they're really using more enery and wasting more of our money. Everyones home all night so why turn it off then, during the day everyones working doesnt it make more sense to do it then if you are dumb enought to do it' Is this practice even legal' Can they do this if we are paying the utlities' So if you are waking up in a nasty pile of sweat your not going crazy nor are you ill blame it on management. Am I the only one with this problem' You all dont notice'
I'd also like to point out that there is a large problem with vermin and they refuse to exterminate no matter what. They're unsympathetic and just plan nasty when you call about any problems and they are sure to tell you that you're the only person having vermin problems. It's pointless to even try to deal with them. Just call the coporate office to get anything done.

You are not the only one waking up in a pool of sweat. Trust me! And as an ------- American woman, that's the last thing my hair needs! I'm not trying to be funny because I'm sure NO ONE wants to wake up sweating but my hair is drenched in the morning and everyday hair washing damages a black woman's hair. But not to go on and on about "black hair care" -- just didn't want you to think you were crazy or as I said before, waking up feeling like a heroin addict going through detox! And I too have mentioned the problem with rats and mice. I am SO ready to move. The best thing is the pool! Never really crowded!

I am not a scam, believe it or not! My AC works fine! I'm sorry- I don't know what to tell ya! Do you think management honestly cares enough to check this site? They would need a lot more positive feedback then just me!

Dont be fooled, the a/c is off at night. I wake up horribly sweating like the rest of you. "Twentysomethinggal" is management.

Mangement is EMAILED everytime there is a new post, so yes, they DO care. "Twentysomethinggal" you know this as your employed by Archstone Smith. Ask any repair man here, the a/c IS turned off at nice for conservation and this is common knowlege and anyone with a brain and a digital thermometer can fiqure it out. Mystery Solved scooby.
