Bugs, Rodents, Leaks, Holes! Don't Move Here!

Don't move here! I have lived in Archstone for 1.5 years, simply because moving was just too expensive. But after this past year, I have no choice. I have had mice, roaches, crickets, ants, and every other type of bug. It hasn't been because I have been unclean, but because maintanence never took the time to patch necessary holes in the apartment to keep the critters out! The hot water in most 4800's buildings doesn't work for at least one day a week. The piping is very old and constantly needing repairs, which affects the water pressure. Utlities are becoming sky high. The staff is nice but not effective. They claim to have a 24 service request guarantee, but maintanence will come out and not even fix the issue. The grounds look unkept, people allow their dogs to leave feces everywhere. There are no security locks on the main entrance doors so anyone can come in. And sometimes people sleep in the hallways overnight! There are at least two car thefts or break-ins a week. The complex has a peeping tom that was never caught, and lots of bugs dwell in the laundry/trash rooms. So please if you can help it, don't move here, the rent is way too expensive to deal with so many problems.
