We pay $1500 a month and there's no heat!

This place is put together so cheaply that, according to Jamie in the management office, when they turn off the heat on May 1, it can't be turned on again until Sept. Hence it's 51 degrees outside and, because of no heat, shoddy insulation, and windows that are slightly thicker than Saran Wrap, it's just a little warmer on the inside.
Everything else about this place is miserable too:
-management is rude and condescending
-the fire alarms don't actually call the fire department, which lead residents of one building to spend an hour outside waiting for a fire truck that never arrived
-maintenance requests are never fulfilled without a second call, despite Archstone's 24-hour guarantee
-guest parking is hard to find
-there's trash every where
