I would not recommend Archstone to my worst enemy. Sure it seems ok at first it's a decent area and what seem like cheap apartments then you learn the truth. First off it is shared utilities which means for a 2 bedroom apartment you end up paying $200 in utilities and when you move out they slap you with a $400 utility bill. I now live in a 3 bedroom HOUSE and do not pay that much in utilities. Also, you would think for that much in utilities my apartment would be warm in the winter. Not the case these apartmens are so old I had a cold breeze blowing on me when I layed in bed in the winter and a really hot bedrro
in the summer.
Secondly, the leasing office and the people that work there are a joke. Expect random charges and fees to show up on your account and be prepared to have to fight to get them off. Also, you will always get a different answer from every employee if you get one at all they normally just say "I don't know". They are the most inept and poorly run apartment I have ever dealt with.
Lastly, if you have a pet you will get ripped off here. You will pay a $450 pet fee when you move in and then another $30 a month so over $700 total. But don't expect this to cover any damages these fees are just so you have the pleasure of having a pet. The manager basically told me to my face that yes this is a rip off. I was present for my move out inspection and was told that I wouldn't be charged anything. Then what a suprise Archstone sends me a bill for $200.
I beg you if you like your money in your own pocket do not move in here. They do their best to rip you off every chance they get. They are so inept it is really not worth it all. You can get a nicer place in a better location with utilities included after what you end up paying here every month. DON'T LIVE HERE!

Amen. Why am I paying $200 a month for a one bedroom and you have a two bedroom? Fees are outrages Service is terrible and neighbors are getting sketchy they don't even bother doing background checks anymore...
