The fire alarm went off at 4550 at 2:39 am'
Fire Rescue dispatched at about 2:46 am. Why did that take 5 minute to get them on the horn' At least they showed up quick. Hats off to Engine 107 in Arlington for always
showing up as fast as possible to our false alarms.
There was a problem with a valve in the roof (loss of pressure).
No fire. (as usual).
anyways - the fire department tried to reset
the alarm - couldn't. They had to pull
the backup battery to shut the thing off at
3:15 am. They called the fire alarm company
to get ahold of someone with palazzo to
do fire watch- they # the fire alarm company
had was no longer in use. Maintenance
didn't arrive until 3:15 am or so and was
on 'fire watch' until someone else could
come out to the place.
Get ready for this winter, with more false
alarms in the middle of the night. You'll be
numb like me - and never leave your apartment.
