I/We have lived in both apts and townhouses in this development. Due to employment changes I have upgraded from a 1 bedroom apt to a 2 br 2ba town house. I have had no problems with management or maintenance. We had an overflowing toilet/water pipe break and after calling for assistance at 5:30 am I had a maintenance person at my door within 15 minutes.

Avalon at Cameron Court is one of the only communities in the area that has a no cash policy that requires all adults residing at complete credit apps. This is in keeping with best rental practices and anti-terrorism responsibilities. Following 9/11 and during the time that warnings of possible terrorism through apt complexes they spearhead an effort to have community awareness classes provide on site. A LT with Alexandria police department is a resident at Cameron Court and was the keynote speaker. Management addressed the dog attack that is talked about in this forum and that breed isn?t allowed to live there any longer.

Bottom line is anywhere you live there are going to be some people that don?t behave appropriately. In checking the VA State police web site there are no registered sex offenders in this community.

The only reason we moved was due to job relocation otherwise we would still be happy tenants. Don?t let 13 or 14 negative reviews effect your decision on this or any large community. Remember that people that are happy with this community don?t have a reason to search for it and write a favorable review.

Oh almost forgot my dog really misses her friends at the dog park. Hey Bernie!!!!!
