My wife & I moved in a year and a half ago into a 2BR/2B unit. Right from the start we had problems. We drove down from NY and wanted to park our moving van in the lot the night before our lease term was to begin. The management office would not allow it. Since then we have had a host of small problems....water leaking from a burst boiler upstairs which caused our alarm system to short, waking us at 2:00am to the blaring siren which could NOT be shut off due to the short.....electricity which occasionally fails for no apparent reason...noisy neighbors upstairs which management was slow to address ("call the police", we were told)...failure to notify of package delivery, etc... However, the place isnt all bad. For instance, the grounds are nicely kept and the apartments are spacious and bright with good appliances, plenty of water pressure, and a decent central heating/cooling system. But for 1600+/mo. and an 8% rental increase on the way, the level of service and responsiveness is far less than it should be.
